The Open Air Cinema at BUFA is back!

The Open Air Film double-bill screening of two photographers - Nan Goldin x David LaChapelle at the Berliner Union Film Campus in conjunction with The Berlin Film Society had an amazing turnout on 11th August 2017. Take a look at the pictures below.

The Berliner Union Film and Berlin Film Society are teaming up again to bring cinema lovers another double-bill screening of Kubrick's 'Dr. Strangelove' and 'The Bomb' this Friday 1st September.

Dr Strangelove

In 1964, Stanley Kubrick dared to make a film about what could happen if the wrong person pushed the wrong button. Over 50 years later, Kubrick’s subversive masterpiece, Dr. Strangelove, is proving to be a prophecy disguised as farce.

The Bomb
A stunning and compelling new avant-garde film immerses us into the strange and unsettling world of the nuclear weapon: the bomb (2017), which premiered at the Berlinale and Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year.

This unique event presents an opportunity to witness the troubling history of the nuclear bomb by juxtaposing the jet-black satire of Kubrick’s cult film with the mesmerising cinematic experience of the bomb.

20:00 Doors Open

22:15 ‘The Bomb’ (2017), OV, 60mins
