Atlantic Pavilion is a Grade I listed, 90,000 sqft architectural wonder. It is located within the heart of Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage waterfront at Albert Dock and boasts original warehouse features with double-height windows overlooking the dockside. Liverpool’s docks dominated global trade in the 19th century, with the Albert Dock at their heart. When it opened in 1846, Albert Dock changed the way the docks and trade worked forever. Warehouses such as Atlantic Pavilion were fireproof and secure; traders could do deals before their import taxes were due; hydraulic cranes hauled heavy cargoes across the flagstones.
Asset Management Strategy:
The building will undergo staged refurbishments at lease events to provide high-quality, modern office accommodation. The refurbishment and re-letting process will take advantage of the growing demand for characterful buildings in Liverpool as well as the upwards trend on market rents. The works will highlight original features within the building and expose those which had been concealed by prior refurbishments.
